Since 1989, the McCall Arts & Humanities Council (MAHC) has worked towards engaging central Idaho communities in imaginative and creative endeavors. Now in its 27th year, the MAHC continues to grow and expand our impact on our community.

Last year alone, the MAHC worked with over 150 artistic contributors and over 2,500 participants through our programs. Art School provides classroom art instruction to 3rd and 5th graders through an artist-in-residency program; Cabin Fever provides a diverse selection of arts and humanities classes and events every winter, January through April; Kaleidoscope offers children a one-day, outdoor, FREE hands-on immersion in art; each summer, Creative Campus offers youth classes in a variety of arts and humanities topics; Children's Theater, a partnership with the Alpine Playhouse, engages children in the performance of feature-length professional theatrical productions.

We invite you to join us in over a quarter-century of giving to create a vital imaginative community. Please support a community rich in culture and creativity by making a donation. Your gift will keep our much-loved programs alive.

Your support of the MAHC enables us to continue delivering dynamic arts opportunities across central Idaho. Our programs and events are designed to help citizens “flex their imaginations”; much like a physical muscle, a strong imagination must be stretched and conditioned to be most effective. The arts and humanities matter because they engage our imagination, allowing us to interpret the past, envision the future, and form a foundation for critical thought and pioneering ideas. By flexing our imagination, we ultimately exercise our own humanity.
