MCE Social Capital is a nonprofit impact investing firm that uses a pioneering loan guarantee model to generate economic opportunity for women and families living in poverty throughout the developing world.

Leveraging the excellent credit of high net worth individuals and foundations (our Guarantors), MCE borrows capital from U.S. and European financial institutions and accredited investors to strategically deploy to two types of organizations:

• Financial service providers (FSPs) that help people living in rural areas gain access to credit, savings accounts, insurance, healthcare and health education, business education, and technical assistance.
• Small and growing businesses (SGBs)in the food & agriculture, water &sanitation, and renewable energy sectors, to create reliable jobs in rural economies, raise smallholder farmers’ incomes, and address basic needs in underserved areas.

By donating, your gift will help empower people living in poverty to build a better future. Specifically, your support will strengthen and expand MCE’s ability to partner with and provide financing to MFIs and SGBs across Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.
