Mckinley-Thatcher Elementary

At McKinley Thatcher Elementary, our PTA's mission is to help the school nurture the academic, social, physical, and emotional growth of every student through fundraising and volunteer support. While core funding from Denver Public Schools supports the basics, it does not provide for critical programs like art, music, drama, sports, technology, or gifted and talented education. These programs, which inspire creativity and excellence, are essential to providing a well-rounded education for our students.

To fill this gap, McKinley Thatcher is working to build a strong culture of giving. We ask our community—parents, families, and friends—to contribute time, talent, and resources. Your generosity helps fund programs at MCT that make our school stand out.

Fundraising plays a pivotal role in the success of McKinley Thatcher. Without it, many of the enriching programs and resources that drive student achievement would not exist. Our community's contributions make possible essential elements like paraprofessionals in classrooms, interactive technology, and extracurricular activities, all of which foster an environment where every student can thrive.
