Meadowedge Art for Children

 In an 1890 farmhouse nestled in the hills of Western Massachusetts, a mother turned a woodshed into an art studio for her 4 children. The space was filled with light, music, varied materials and tools for them to master. Her philosophy nurtured each child’s unique style and ideas in a safe,yet exciting, fun place to be. Shortly thereafter, MEADOWEDGE ART FOR CHILDREN was founded as a non profit organization for area children.

      That was 28 years ago and many area children are now grown with children of their own who also now enjoy Meadowedge. i Cynthia Fulton, founder of Meadowedge, still works with this second generation and many other new families  With their support, volunteer effort and  generous donors, Meadowedge now serves 150 children in 3 art studios and in a highly regarded and popular summer art/swimming program.
