Support Our Youth Scholarship Program

This Delco Gives Day, we’re raising $12,500 to support our Youth Scholarship Program. In May 2025, we’ll award scholarships to nine deserving high school juniors and seniors from Delaware County. These awards—ranging from $500 to $2,000—help juniors cover college application fees and support seniors with tuition costs, removing financial barriers to higher education.

80 Years of Building a Stronger Community

Since 1944, Media Fellowship House has been a beacon of unity, justice, and opportunity in Delaware County. Founded by four visionary women determined to combat discrimination and foster understanding, our organization has remained steadfast in its mission to bring people together across differences and uplift those in need.

Today, we continue this legacy by offering a wide range of programs that empower individuals and strengthen our communities. We guide first-time homebuyers toward achieving homeownership and long-term housing stability through education, counseling, and financial assistance. We bridge the digital divide by providing access to technology and resources, ensuring all residents can navigate an increasingly digital world. Our scholarship program nurtures the next generation of changemakers, supporting students as they pursue higher education and their dreams.

Beyond direct services, we honor the past while shaping the future. Each year, we commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through events that inspire civic engagement and action. Our new community garden fosters youth leadership, environmental stewardship, and food justice. We create spaces for dialogue and connection, bringing people together to address social injustices and build a more inclusive society.
