Media Arts Center San Diego, the producer of the annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, is seeking donations for our annual “Youth Media Scholarship Fundraiser” for our year-round Youth Media & Tech Camps  www.mediaartscenter.org/mediacamp) & award-winning Teen Prodicers Project. 

Started five years ago, Media Arts Center San Diego’s popular Youth Media & Tech Camps are one-week camps that teach youth, ages 9-14, how to collaborate together using media and technology arts, and engage with others in an increasingly connected world. Learning basic media tools in a fun, collaborative environment provides youth with the skills to utilize the newest media technologies in a positive and productive way that will put them on a path for success in their future careers. 

The camps offer children in San Diego County an opportunity to learn about media arts and technology tools to use in their everyday lives, school, and future careers. For many of these youth, these types of tools and much-needed technology training is no longer offered in their schools due to the on-going school budget crisis.

Please consider donating to this important cause today! Every donation amount is greatly appreciated. A donation of $245 will send one child to camp for an entire week.
