Memorial Hall OTR

A nonprofit organization

Memorial Hall is a historic venue located in the Elm Street arts corridor of Cincinnati’s vibrant Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Fully restored in 2016 as part of an $11 million capital campaign, the venue hosts more that 250 events and performances each year, and is home to some of the Queen City’s finest performing arts presenters.

Memorial Hall Operations is dedicated to programming and preserving historic Hamilton County Memorial Hall. The venue’s bookings reflect the richness of our community, honor the veterans for whom the hall was built, and contribute to the vibrancy of the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.

Like the six pillars supporting the magnificent façade of Memorial Hall, six programming areas form the foundation of our work:

  • Free and low-cost theatre for families.
  • Memorable performances by artists of color.
  • Inspiring encounters with female leaders.
  • American-made art forms, including jazz and bluegrass.
  • Honoring our veteran community.
  • Offering an affordable, uplifting venue for Cincinnati’s performing arts presenters and producers.
