Memories on the Mesa

Memories on the Mesa is a 501(c)3 non-profit sanctuary, dedicated to providing a forever home for sick and rescued desert animals.  All our animals are housed in large enclosures closely resembling their natural habitat, where they are free to roam at their leisure in a safe environment.

Memories on the Mesa is a fairly new non-profit that currently cares for desert tortoises. We hope, by next year, to be able to start caring for burros. Our non-profit sanctuary primarily services the southern California desert communities of Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Pioneer Town, Landers, Joshua Tree, and 29 Palms.  We are a small but dedicated organization committed to saving one animal at a time!
