Menlo Park Friends of the Library

Supporting many of the Library’s programs and special events, the Friends of the Menlo Park Library is proud to be one of the Library’s oldest volunteer groups.  We have a record of 62 years of bookselling efforts (more than a half century).

Here's what happens: Readers in the community donate gently-used books & DVDs; members of the Friends sort and price them.  Then the books are available for sale in the Friends Bookstore in the Library lobby, at quarterly Book Sales at the Library, and through its bookstore on Amazon.com.

With our bookselling efforts, the Friends of the Library has supported and enhanced Library programs, special events, resources and materials for children and adults.  Our support benefits storytelling hours for children, teen events, summer reading programs, special monthly events for adults, and adult literacy programs.

Your donation to the Menlo Park Friends of the Library will help increase its impact and perpetuate the Library programs that our Menlo Park community enjoys!

Think of the programs you will be backing!  Give now!!
