Meridian Canine Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill canine rescue dedicated to giving homeless and owner surrendered dogs a second chance. We have both a facility and a network of foster homes, several staff members, great business partnerships, and a whole bunch of awesome volunteers -- all of which help us care for dogs in need.

Our mission is to save dogs through storytelling and education. We strongly believe that all dogs are individuals and that it is our responsibility to share their story and advocate for their needs. We are not breed-specific and do not breed label; instead, we focus on each dog and what we can do to help him or her thrive. Our programming is based on three key areas -- storytelling, education, and training -- to help strengthen human understanding and build successful human-dog relationships.

We envision a world where all dogs are seen as individuals and cherished as family members. To turn that vision into reality, we have a team of dedicated volunteers and staff members who embrace our organizational values: transparency, commitment, individuality, and empathy. These team members work each day to promote individual dogs, to educate our local community, to help dogs navigate a human world, and to train humans to handle dogs well.
