Metro Meals on Wheels Treasure Valley

Metro Meals on Wheels and its "army" of volunteers deliver and serve meals to over 900 seniors each weekday and 800 frozen meals every weekend in Boise and throughout Ada County.

- 87% say it makes them feel more safe and secure
- 83% say it improves their health
- 92% say it enables them to remain independent, living at home

Most seniors receiving meals are homebound and unable to prepare meals. Others receive their meals at one of the senior centers in Boise, Garden City, Meridian, Eagle, Star, and Kuna, Samaritan Village and Northgate Senior Village, and Sarah Care. For many, these meals not only provide their daily nourishment, but also allow them to remain independent.
