The Metropolis of Boston is a vibrant and active community of parishes that spread across New England. Under the leadership and service of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios the Metropolis of Boston offers a wide array of Ministries and resources to our New England Parishoners.

Camping Ministry

The Metropolis of Boston Camp (MBC) is a wildly succesful ministry of the Metropolis of Boston. What began as a youth camping program back in the early 90's with just one summer session, MBC has grown to minister to over 800 campers and families a year through the 6 summer and 2 winter programs. The MBC ministry take place at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center which is just a little over an hour North of Boston and also owned by the Metropolis of Boston. With the addition of the Retreat House, complete with 35 individual guest rooms featuring two double beds and  a private bath in each, camp is no longer just for kids. MBC is the heart of the Youth ministry for the Metropolis of Boston and the camping ministry is one of the most vibrant and active programs of the Metropolis.

Philoxenia House

The Philoxenia House is not a house at all, it is a home. A home to those sick and infirmed from oversees, mainly Greece, who  find themselves seeking medical attention from the Boston Medical Centers. Thise house becomes a space for those who are ill and their families to stay while they are being cared for.
