Metropolitan Golf Foundation

A nonprofit organization

$270 raised by 5 donors

The Metropolitan Golf Foundation was created in 2006 with the purpose of promoting Junior golf in the St. Louis Metropolitan and Southern Illinois region. The Foundation does this by providing golf related services and support to area youth and youth golf programming.

In line with this purpose, the Metropolitan Golf Foundation has begun work to revitalize Normandie Golf Course in North St. Louis through a project entitled Normandie Reimagined. Yes, this project is about keeping a crucial community asset available to all, BUT it is mainly about the youth impact that will come when the course reopens. Youth programs such as the First Tee of Greater St. Louis, Youth On Course, Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Foundation, Gateway PGA Junior League, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, Urban Golf of Greater St. Louis, Golf Foundation of Missouri, and Normandy High School’s Golf Team will all have access to and programs at Normandie Golf Club.
