We are all very saddened by the countless children in Riverside County who have suffered so greatly through the jeopardy of impending homelessness, hunger, emotional instability and their families’ difficulty meeting financial obligations because of an addiction. It’s a very sad childhood. These are the folks for whom MFI serves as a safety net.

Children are often the unintended victims of substance abuse and infants born to addicted mothers are among the world's most vulnerable. MFI's 'A Woman’s Place', serves women while allowing mothers and children to remain together removing a great barrier to their access of help and addressing their special needs in a safe, supportive, healing environment. The result is the transformation of struggling people into loving and productive individuals who enrich their family and community.
