Miami Youth Garden Inc

The Innovative Miami Youth Garden, Inc. (MyG)

is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

It is the umbrella program for the MyG Summer Leadership Programs that focus on gaining back the attention of our youth who are at risk for gang recruitment, drug use, and falling victim to the well-known cycles of living in underserved and low socioeconomic status neighborhoods. The Seed-to-Harvest (STH) curriculum utilized at all program sites features a live, community garden classroom and evidence-based leadership development principles.  Beyond gardening, the program incorporates STEAM activities into a faith-based curriculum that enhances student confidence, increases academic achievement, and offers opportunities to increase family food security, better food choices and improved nutrition.
