Michigan Opera Theatre

Michigan Opera Theatre (MOT) is adapting our opera and dance services for the community until we can safely welcome audiences back inside the Detroit Opera House.  As our company explores the role the arts can play in tempering public anxiety during this pandemic, we are pursuing safe and creative pathways toward audience re-engagement across digital and community platforms this summer and fall.

While social distancing affects our ability to present live events, MOT is developing weekly opera, dance, and educational resources for adults and students alike, with a growing cache of lectures, blogs, podcasts, lesson plans, and links to performances from around the country through our newly launched digital programs "MOT at Home" and "MOT Learns at Home."

Your donation in support of MOT's digital programs will ensure we remain connected and in service to our community of opera and dance enthusiasts until programs inside the theater resume.
