Midlands Fatherhood Coalition

The mission of the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition is to engage fathers in the positive support of their children and to enhance community support for fatherhood throughout the Midlands.

MFC helps fathers become engaged and responsible parents. We offer one-on-one goal setting, group sessions on topics such as parenting skills, healthy relationships, men's health, and economic stability. We also offer a job readiness boot camp and assist with employment. Strong fathers make strong families. While we help fathers, the ultimate impact is on their children. Their lives and outcomes are much better when their father is involved and providing economic support for their children. Did you know that when dads are involved, children are better students and have healthier outcomes? When fathers are uninvolved, children are more likely to be incarcerated, drop out of high school, commit suicide, have behavioral problems, and become teen parents.
