Milledgeville-Baldwin County Allied Arts Inc

A nonprofit organization

Allied Arts was founded in 1977 as a GCA Community Cultural Development. In 1988, Allied Arts incorporated as a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization. Building on the rich architectural heritage and history of the area, Allied Arts has become a regional visual and performing arts destination. Facilities utilized in the pursuit of our mission include: the 1830 John Marlor House (which houses our administrative offices and permanent collection, and is where we hold our exhibits and openings); the 1911 Allen’s Market Building (where we hold meetings, performances, classes, and workshops); and the Black Heritage Plaza (where we hold outdoor performances). We are governed by an active eleven-member board and supported by the Friends of Allied Arts, our volunteer auxiliary group.
