Milton Art Center Inc

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We get comments all the time from people saying, “we don’t know how you’re doing this, it’s so much work”.  We agree with them, it’s a lot of work. The Milton Art Center runs on volunteers.

Our motivation to do the work comes from our shared beliefs that art is central to our lives. It’s the people we meet here that keep us going.

It’s inspirational to be around people who challenge themselves to get in front of an audience for the first time at Open Mic or display their artwork in our gallery shows or public spaces across town for Art in the Windows.

It’s inspirational to have world-class performers like Jill Sobule come to the space to share her talent and wit with us in the audience.  

It’s inspirational to be around our members who are generous with their time, talent and money to keep our non-profit organization going.

Our building, the former East Milton Library is another inspiration. It’s a privilege to be in this space that has so many memories for our town.

It’s our responsibility to keep the building in good working order and we need your help. It costs approximately $45,000 a year to operate this building and our organization.
We exist to support and strengthen creative expression in the arts.
