-Has "the most progressive" education programs of any American orchestra (according to the national magazine Musical America) -- serving 40,000 children annually. -Tours the state annually -Operates the third largest symphony national radio broadcast network in the U.S., reaching more than 200 markets and 2.6 million listeners. -Has toured Europe, Japan, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and throughout the U.S.
