Mini Miracles began its work in 2007 with Apollo, a small bay miniature horse, working with two young boys on the Autism Spectrum.  Since then,  additional miniature horses and donkeys have joined us,  along with volunteers of all ages.  We provide programs for children at Casa de los Ninos, Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind, Tucson Alliance for Autism,  Arts for All, and many other organizations and school districts in southern Arizona.

Our programs are created specifically for each group of children we work with based on their needs.  Programs may involve working with children on respecting personal space, appropriate touch, building self esteem, sharing and other social skills.

At other times, the programs may focus on learning to follow instructions and accomplish skills such as leading, grooming and roping.

Customized, interactive encounters with the minis make the activities fun and challenging.

Our programs are provided free of charge.  Your support plays a big part in Mini Miracles' success in providing services to southern Arizona children in need.

One small child at Casa de los Ninos summed it up when he said,  "This has been the best day of my life."
