Minority Access, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, assists individuals, academic institutions, Federal, state, and local government agencies, and corporations of all kinds in diversifying their campuses and work sites.
Some of what we do:
- Partner with colleges and universities in identifying a “real-life” role model to reduce health disparities and other societal ills and to increase the presence of underrepresented populations in higher education.
- Place undergraduate, graduate and law students in paid summer, fall and spring internships nationwide.
- Promote STEM studies and careers through partnerships, program curriculum and hands-on experiences.
- Advance positive outcomes in postsecondary education through administration of pre-college programs, accelerated academic programs, funded study programs and academic assessment.
- Nurture personal development of grade school students through field trips, cultural excursions, academic mentoring and academic counseling.
- Organize opportunities for travel, network expansion and training for academic and career enrichment.
- Develop effective outreach strategies for diversity and multiculturalism initiatives.
