Antoinette was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer, at the tender age of 8. Now 14, she is fighting hard and strong each and every day. She travels with her mother between Nevada, where they live, and New York to receive critical treatment to prevent her cancer from progressing. Her mother, the primary breadwinner and full-time caregiver to little Antoinette, eventually had to leave her job to care for her little girl. Miracle Flights has been there, and will be there, to make sure Antoinette gets to the life-saving care she needs.

Miracle Flights began its journey in 1985, providing close to 3 decades of service. As the nation’s leading nonprofit health and welfare flight organization, our goal is to remove barriers to healthcare access and improve the quality of life for our nation’s children. We fly children who are struggling with serious cancers and other debilitating diseases to specialized medical treatment centers across the US that can best help them.

Headquartered in Nevada, our national program is far reaching and continues to grow, forging alliances with donors, commercial airlines, and sponsors who provide us the means to fly children to and from treatment centers – as many times as required. MFFK assures families with limited financial resources that their sick child is not without options. To date, we have coordinated over 97,000 flights, flying over 54 million miles!

These miracle missions stand true to the belief that money should never stand in the way of children getting the best possible medical treatment – no matter how far away it might be.
