Miss Carrollton Queen Pageant Nfp Inc

Every year, the Miss Carrollton Queens invest their time and energy on a project to give back to the community. This year, the queens project plans to provide some upgrades to the basketball court at the city park. 

Basketball is a loved past time by many of all ages. If you drive by the park this summer, you’re likely to see a group playing basketball at the court. You’ll also note that the court is near a curve and close to the road which has long posed a safety concern for parents and community members. 

Our project would add a chain link fence (similar to a backstop) between the court and road to help prevent basketballs from rolling into traffic. Additionally, we would like to add some paint to the court to help identify landmarks of the court such as a lane and free throw line at each basket. These upgrades will only be possible with the support of community members and businesses.
