Miss Maggie Mays Rescue

Miss Maggie May’s Rescue is a small all volunteer foster home based dog rescue founded 4 years ago.

Since our founding we have taken in over 200 dogs and puppies finding homes for over 150

We have several hospice and long term dogs in our care, these are dogs with medical issues that prevent them from being adoptable.  They will stay in the care of Miss Maggie May’s Rescue for the remainder of their lives.

In the course of the last 4 years we have encountered dogs that have needed Cherry Eye repairs, eye removals, broken bones requiring pins, parvo, valley fever and other more common ailments.

We have taken in dogs from our local shelter as well as from neighboring counties, out of state, strays and owner surrenders.  The need is great.

Medical care alone makes up over 70% of our budget.   We are not funded by any City, County, State or Federal agency.  We depend solely on adoption fees, fundraisers and donors.

We would like to continue our Mission and as we grow our foster home base our budget will increase and so will the cost for medical and other basic needs for the  dogs in our care.
