Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving!!  Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm raising money for Missouri  Law Enforcement Funeral Assistance Team. Our Team responds when an officer dies in the line of duty and at the request of the law enforcement agency to ensure that the hero is provided the Ultimate Honors they deserve and is laid to rest with the Honor, Dignity, and Respect they have earned. We accept the heavy burden and long hours of planning and coordinating these ceremonies and remove  it from the shoulders and hearts of the families and agencies to allow them to start the grieving process immediately and start them on the never ending path of healing. Our Team assists agencies across the entire State of Missouri, most often on a moments notice to help ease the pain and burden for the survivors.   We work closely with the family, agency, funeral directors, pastors and many others to ensure that all honors available are provided for the hero, following the families wishes. We achieve this through our all volunteer team of approximately 20 dedicated professionals and many others who assist on the day of services to allow us to implement the many hours of precise and meticulous planning that goes in to these ceremonies. As a non profit organization, we self fund our activities through fundraising events, donations and campaigns such as Giving Tuesday, we DO NOT have a dedicated funding stream such as a tax base, grant or private funder. The funds raised during this campaign fund the day to day operation of the Team and allow us to continue to deploy to honor the fallen heroes who dedicate their life to the communities across Missouri.
