"I am 76, a member of Mizell, and the sole caretaker for my disabled husband. I regularly go the fitness, yoga, and balance classes. The fitness classes have made me stronger in essential ways-to carry heavy shopping bags, lifting my husband's wheelchair into our SUV, and pushing him in it, for instance. The yoga has helped me relax and reduce my anxiety, and also given me breathing techniques that help me sleep better. My participation in these Mizell activities has indirectly affected my husband's well-being because I am more able to take care of him.
