Mobile C a R E Foundation

Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation is a non-profit organization which dispatches mobile health clinics called Asthma Vans into distressed Chicago neighborhoods. By working in partnership with local schools, we’re able to treat asthmatic students whom otherwise could not afford necessary on-going care and medication without the children missing school. Our Asthma Vans have been proven to reduce school absenteeism, increase physical activity, and keep kids out of the ER.

After enrollment, only 1-in-25 Mobile C.A.R.E. patients report an ER visit or hospitalization, versus 1-in-3 in the year prior to joining Mobile C.A.R.E.
