Mobile Medical Care Inc

Our nearly 6,000 annual patients come from 100 countries and speak 27 languages. Our goal is to deliver primary and preventive healthcare in a respectful, competent, culturally sensitive and compassionate manner at multiple fixed clinic sites and on mobile vans. Most would go without any medical care at all without MobileMed, despite often having chronic or acute health conditions that place them among our most vulnerable residents.

A typical patient is a 45-year-old Latina woman who is long overdue for a well woman exam, and does not realize that she has diabetes. Another example is a 62-year-old man originally from West Africa referred by an Emergency Department physician for follow-up respiratory and cardiac care. 

Our staff, volunteer practitioners and community specialist volunteers provide effective diagnostic testing and treatment to our patients. MobileMed has never turned away a patient for lack of ability to pay.
