Contributions raised by Mojave Valley United Way (Barstow) are essential since government funding has been cut in most cases and is not enough to pay for all of the services needed in our community.  Your investment, magnified by the investment of your friends and co-workers, has a measurable impact in your community.

We respect that you work hard for your money and know you want to help people who truly need it.  People who receive help from your United Way funded agencies are carefully screened to be sure they honestly need assistance.

How your gift is distributed:

A benefit of United Way is its citizen review process. Last year over fifteen volunteers personally reviewed programs and services of local agencies to find the most effective ways to provide a broad range of services to those in need.
