The funds raised through Long Beach Gives will assist in two key areas this year:

Pediatrics:  Our goal is to expand our pediatric programming and services in Long Beach with our ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Services and one on one Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy.  We also hope to expand our Early Intervention Programs for preschool-age children (ages 1.5 to 3 years). The pediatric funds will help us purchase essential therapy equipment, supplies, and tools, including AAC devices, iPads, weighted balls, therapy chews, and more.   

Adult Services: Today, we celebrate the Harbor House, our adult and senior home in Lomita, and ask you to support them in fundraising toward the cost of additional special outings for their residents. Adults and Seniors living in any of our 18 group homes experience a loving, caring environment with support and programming tailored to each person’s individual needs. Our dedicated, highly trained staff members provide person-centered care designed to help residents live full, healthy, dignified lives.

We are raising enough funds for tickets, entrance fees, and transportation for additional community activities throughout the year for our Harbor House residents.  Additionally, Momentum has a fleet of wheelchair-accessible vehicles to ensure residents can access their community and participate in special activities.
