Momentum's mission is to advance the independence, productivity, and full citizenship of children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions. Momentum's services in Long Beach and Torrance support children, adults, and their families. Through innovative programs and services, Momentum empowers individuals and communities to reach full inclusion for access to opportunities and resources.

This year, the funds raised with Long Beach Gives will assist in expanding our Early Intervention Programs for pre-school-age children and Social Skills programs like Buddy Club, Buddy Builders, and My Place for children ages 5 to 18. They will also support the purchase of needed therapy tools like AAC devices, iPads, weighted balls, therapy chews, and more!   

Momentum is increasing the number and ways we support children and families in Long Beach by offering more home-based and parent-integrated behavioral health services and individual therapies.
