For more than 50 years, the Monarch School of
New England has been rooted in the belief that every student has potential, and
that every student deserves to learn, grow, and thrive in a community where
they feel they truly belong.
Through innovative,
individualized instruction, Monarch supports students ages 5–22 with
significant developmental, physical, and medical disabilities. Our programs
integrate academics, therapies, life skills, vocational training, and
community-based instruction. The goal is not only to educate, but also to
empower students to live meaningful lives with as much independence and
connection as possible.
Monarch’s story began with a group of volunteers who saw a gap in services and
responded by creating a safe, welcoming place for children with disabilities.
That spirit of inclusion continues today, guiding our commitment to creating
equitable access and opportunity for all students, regardless of ability.
That same commitment now drives our effort to ensure every student has access
to nutritious, high-quality meals at no cost to families. Starting in the
2025–2026 school year, the Monarch School of New England will launch its own
school lunch program - offering
free, nutritious meals to all students, regardless of income.
This new initiative will:
