In the early years, the Foundation’s income was returned to the school in the form of enhancements to the classrooms, primarily through requests from individual teachers. As the Foundation funds grew, other sources were made available for teachers to address classroom needs. The Board of Trustees voted in 2004 to direct a defined percentage of the total assets made through contributions and investments to support teachers’ salaries.

The Msgr. Edward C. Dunn Foundation provides assistance to help individuals, families and organizations pursue their long-term charitable giving to St. Peter’s Parish School conveniently, effectively and with maximum tax benefits. The General Fund and Specific Funds accept gifts of any amount.

You can support St. Peter’s Parish School during your lifetime and in perpetuity by making an outright gift of cash or assets in any amount. You might consider a Deferred or Planned Gift, such as a charitable bequest, life insurance or the assets of a retirement account. When the Foundation receives your contribution, it is immediately invested and annual distributions are made to St. Peter’s Parish School in perpetuity.
