The Montessori School of Camden

The mission of the Montessori School of Camden is to engage students to become peaceful citizens of the global community using the Montessori approach to nurture in them an enthusiasm for learning, resourcefulness, a sense of responsibility for their actions, and respect for themselves, others, and their environment.

The Montessori School of Camden (MSC) is an award-winning, accredited public charter school and ABC Quality Level B licensed childcare center, serving children from infancy through 8th grade. Nestled on an 11-acre campus near downtown Camden, SC, MSC intentionally remains small, fostering deep connections between students, teachers, and families. Our multi-year teaching teams nurture each child's academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. Families are the heart of our community, with our Parent Advisory Council playing a vital role in school operations. We embrace cultural learning through immersive experiences, culminating in quarterly "Celebrations of Learning" where students-from toddlers to adolescents-showcase their growth and discoveries. These celebrations offer parents and community members a window into the rich, continuous learning journey that defines MSC.
