Family Sunshine Center

The Family Sunshine Center serves victims of family violence and sexual assault in Autauga, Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes and Montgomery counties.

 

Family ties should not leave scars, but in millions of American families, women and children are killed or injured every year. Each day, at least three children die of abuse or neglect. Domestic Violence is the number one killer of women. One in three teen girls will experience dating violence or unwanted sexual coersion. Fortunately, prevention and intervention are possible.

The Family Sunshine Center exists to end family violence and sexual assault and foster hope and healing in seven Alabama counties: Autauga, Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery.
