Since 1969, Morning Star Catholic School has been helping students with learning differences achieve their full potential academically, socially and spiritually. 

Please support us on May 1, 2018 during Give Day Tampa Bay. (You may donate anytime from April 17 through May 1.  Donations made between April 17 and  April 30 will post to this page on May 1.) Guardian Trust will provide a matching grant for up to $10,000  for donations made to Morning Star during Give Day Tampa Bay 2018.  That means, if we secure $6,000 in donations, Guardian Trust will also donate $6,000!  If we get $10,000 in donations, then Guardian Trust will donate $10,000 too!!  Thank you so much Guardian Trust!  Mere words cannot express our gratitude.

Funds raised through Give Day will bring Mad Science to our classrooms in 2018-2019. The program was such a huge success this year that the students and teachers would like us to bring back Mad Science for an encore year!

Mad Science offers a turn-key, enrichment curriculum that makes science fun for our students. The program sparks imaginative learning through a hands-on, interactive, and inquiry-based approach to science.  

The workshops, presented by highly-trained Mad Scientists, align with STEM fundamentals and Florida State Standards.

Morning Star Catholic School serves children with a variety of learning challenges and related difficulties.  We offer a robust educational curriculum in a nurturing, small group setting.  Morning Star has a good story to tell!  Our current enrollment is 79 students.  We are proud of our education program that includes talented and caring teachers and staff, speech therapists, a music therapist, an occupational therapist  and a part time assistance dog.
