Morris Land Trust

$36,765 raised by 82 donors

The Morris Land Trust is dedicated to protecting the rural character of Morris by preserving open space, farms and woodlands.  Founded in 2008, we are an all-volunteer organization that relies on community support to advance our mission.  We own four properties totaling 130 acres and hold three conservation easements on an additional 148 acres, including the historic Farnham Farm.

In the past year we sponsored a popular
concert at the town beach and held a successful Trails Day hike on our newest
property, The Humphrey Farm Reserve. We will hold another Trails Day hike on
Saturday, June 6, 2026 at our Adams-Purves property. Be on the lookout for a
registration email later this spring. Finally, we will hold a special event
this summer at historic Farnham Farm as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of
our country’s founding.

Please give generously and help us advance our conservation mission!
