The Michael O'Neal Singers

MOS presents a 7- concert season, now fully back in person after the COVID pandemic. Over 135 auditioned singers perform concerts of artistic excellence and choral variety throughout the year. Programming ranges from classical to opera to musical theater to Irish music to Beatles and Rock and Roll! 

The Michael O’Neal Singers are back in person but continue ONLINE choral programming side-by-side with an ONLINE version of their choral concerts. Developed during the pandemic, MOS ONLINE provides participants the opportunity to rehearse the music in tandem with the in-person MOS chorus while at a distance. All registered singers receive links to the marked scores, audio part-learning aids, and a special MOS ONLINE concert live stream. 

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, choruses and choirs all over the world ceased activities. Through its unique online choral experience that included YouTube video rehearsals and real-time Zoom social interaction, MOS filled a void in the lives of many singers as the organization found new and creative ways to fulfill its mission of serving the community through choral music programming. In 2020, 2021, and 2022, MOS ONLINE programming has grown to include over 1,500 participants worldwide, welcoming singers from 36 states and from 15 countries. 

We deliver DVDs of our choral concerts to Senior Living Centers at no charge to them, and we give recordings of our most familiar and well-loved music to those in hospice or living with Alzheimer's or dementia through our free MOS Remembers project. Your contribution helps us continue to engage lovers of choral music even when they can no longer attend live choral performances in person.

The financial support MOS has received over the span of the pandemic has been critical to MOS’s adaptation and expansion, and donations are still needed to ensure we can meet the expenses associated with reopening in a changing world.
