The mission of Mother Seton Catholic School, a vibrant Christ-centered community, is to inspire students to strive for academic excellence and dedicate their lives to love and serve Christ in the tradition of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. Vincent de Paul.

Our school has a rich history and is located in scenic Emmitsburg, MD, the cradle of American Catholic Education. 

Mother Seton School is the direct descendant of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton's school started by the saint in 1810 only 1/4 mile from the current school.

Mother Seton School’s rigorous academic program encourages students to develop their own individual interests and talents. Special Programs and Extra-Curricular Activities provide a number of opportunities for students to further explore their interests. 

We are only minutes away from the City of Frederick Maryland, Carroll County Maryland, and Southern Pennsylvania. Bus transportation is provided to students from around the area.
