1000+ ARTISTS: In 2024 MTM hired 1229 artists for 318 musical performances, with an average of 85% being local UTAH artists, 46% were female fronted bands or female solo performances, 17% were people of color or Latinx, and 5% identified LBGTQ
LOCAL SOUND ENGINEERS: MTM hired 10 professional Utah-based sound engineers and used 16 paid high school interns & 118 paid college interns to help with audio production at our various stages.
350,000+ PEOPLE ATTEND: In 2024, 391,740 people attended a Mountain Town programmed, produced, or supported event.
$3.1 Million - MTM GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY: Mountain Town Music and its various community partners were able to give back over $3.1 million back to the local community in the form of free entertainment value, boosted tourism revenue and increasing the local economy
MTM's MICHAEL JAMES RICHARDS MEMORIAL FUND SUPPORTS YOUTH EDUCATION, STUDENT INTERNS & SCHOLARSHIPS: More than just free music, MTM's MMF (Michael Memorial Fund) supports youth in music education. MMF provides students with education, internships, and even scholarships for students studying Music in college. Over $30,000 in scholarships awarded in 2024!
