Have you ever wanted to make a difference in your community but felt unsure where to start? This challenge resonates with so many across the U.S., where only 23% of people volunteer each year. The Movement Street (TMS) is here to change that.

Since 2020, The Movement Street has connected individuals to meaningful and accessible volunteer opportunities that positively impact local communities. TMS is on a mission to reimagine volunteerism by making it a natural and enjoyable part of life, as engaging as a family reunion or night out with friends. Through creative pathways like arts events, community festivals, service days, and virtual opportunities, we bring people together to foster a spirit of unity and support for neighborhoods in need.

With a 93% volunteer retention rate and partnerships with 11 local organizations, TMS is committed to building stronger communities. We host impactful events like our annual ThanksGIVEAWAY and the Creative Classic arts and culture gala, which has raised thousands in scholarships for K-12 and college students. We also use proceeds from our novelty merchandise to support our programs, raising awareness and funds for community empowerment.

Every donation will go toward essentials like transportation, event supplies, community outreach, and scholarships that create access to quality education and post-graduation opportunities. Your contribution will also allow us to launch our first Movement Fest: A Wellness Event in February, focusing on community health, empowerment, and fun, celebrating Black History Month through wellness and unity.
