MRC GEM

We are an all-volunteer local nonprofit working with public health and emergency management in Georgia’s Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale Counties to respond to disasters and any time they need help.  Anyone can join and no prior training is needed, just a giving heart.  If you join us, all we require is that you try to come help if called.  We offer free training and other activities every month so you can enhance your skills to help make yourself, your family, and your community a safer place to live.

For example, we were heavily involved in the COVID-19 response, providing over 17,000 hours helping with 375,000 COVID19 vaccinations and tests.
