Commitment to our Community

Mt. Horeb has a strong, on-going commitment to help those in need.  Our diverse outreach mission includes drives to collect food, clothing, and supplies for donation to area shelters and local families.  We also utilize our commercial kitchen to prepare and serve food monthly at local soup kitchens and at events in our own Codington Hall.  Our Vacation Bible School, a summer camp for children held annually the second week in August, is open to children of all faiths and economic backgrounds.  As an extension of our community outreach, we are a proud sponsor of Warren Boy Scout Troop 228.
