The Minneapolis University Rotary Club is a diverse group of  professionals within a global network of 1.2 million Rotarians in over 200 countries who are committed to improving the world. 

The Minneapolis University Rotary Club Foundation helps members donate their time and talent for local and international service projects.

Rotary is committed to international humanitarian work in six major areas of service: 

  • Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
  • Disease prevention and treatment
  • Water and sanitation
  • Maternal and child health
  • Basic education and literacy
  • Economic and community development

Minneapolis University Rotary Club and its foundation has led the way on projects in Chile, Rwanda, Mexico, India, Costa Rica, and other locations around the world. The Minneapolis University Rotary Club has a presence on all continents except Antarctica. 

Since its founding in 1991, the Minneapolis University Rotary Club has raised $54,476 for international projects. With matching grants from Rotary District 5950 and the Rotary Foundation, that has been leveraged into $1,230,343 million. Where successful charities spend 90 cents on the dollar for their humanitarian projects, the Minneapolis University Rotary Foundation leverages every fundraising dollar in $22.50. This is made possible by a successful record of matching grant funding.
