MOAH is a family friendly learning environment where visitors of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to explore scientific and technological history through our unique exhibits, classes, and special events. 

 Originally opened in 1990, MOAH relocated to the historic William’s House in downtown Palo Alto in 1997.  MOAH generated temporary and permanent exhibitions are mounted in the century-old home and restored garden. The Livermore Learning Center at MOAH is the venue for classes, lectures, and special events for learners of all ages.  

 

What We Do

Each year MOAH engages: 

  • 20,000+ onsite visitors to our temporary and permanent exhibitions, lectures, and special events.
  • 1,000+ youth who attend our classes and outreach activities. 
  • 100+ volunteers who contribute 12,000+ hours of service to the museum each year
