Musical Instrument Museum (Mim)

MIM's education team receives calls from at least 10 schools a month that would love for their students to participate in a field trip to MIM but are unable to visit due to admission and transportation costs. Your support can help underwrite these costs for Arizona students in grades K-12 who otherwise may not be able to participate in the museum's A World of Musical Journeys Field Trip and Artist Residency program.

A World of Musical Journeys at MIM provides schoolchildren with a unique opportunity to learn about innumerable forms of music and world cultures and how music plays a significant role in cultural traditions around the world-all while on a single field trip. Program curriculum focusing on aspects of social studies, science, and language arts has been carefully designed to align with Arizona Academic Standards. Since the program's inception in 2010, more than 90,000 children from 34 different school districts, 12 charter schools, and 5 at-risk youth group organizations in Arizona have visited MIM.
