My Life My Choice

Youth have a fundamental right to live their lives free from commercial sexual exploitation, a right to live without fear that adults will prey on their vulnerabilities. Through mentoring, education, and advocacy, My Life My Choice (MLMC) works toward eliminating the violence of sexual exploitation, and empowers youth to find a positive life path.

Founded in 2002, MLMC is a groundbreaking, nationally recognized initiative designed to stem the tide of commerical sexual exploitation of adolescents. We have trained over 6,000 youth providers, led prevention groups for more than 1,600 girls and mentored over 250 girls in the metro Boston area. We began mentoring our first boy this year. Our exploitation prevention curriculum is used in more than 20 states. Our programs are all led by survivors, allowing MLMC to have a significant impact on a hard to reach population.
