Westmoreland County Blind Assn.

The mission of this corporation is to improve the quality of life of the blind and the visually impaired and to assist in the prevention of blindness in Westmoreland County.

Westmoreland County Blind Association provides a place and a purpose for people living with sight impairments or intellectual challenges.

WCBA also provides vision screenings for area children and promotes greater independence for area residents living with vision loss.

Specialized Services are provided in accordance with the need of the individual customer. They involve the provision of minor tasks that will enable the customers to remain in their homes and can include activities such as assistance in preparing shopping lists and with shopping, assistance with personal business, such as reading mail, paying bills, budgeting, handling correspondence, filing application for benefits & other essential errands.
