NAMI Piedmont's Mission

To provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals living with a mental illness, their families, and friends.


More About Us

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Piedmont is a grassroots mental health affiliate, which serves Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties. It currently offers the following programs, support groups, and educational opportunities in our community:

NAMI Monthly Meeting:   Mental health presentations.
Family Support Group ;  In-Person and Online support groups for family members of individuals living with a mental illness.
Connections: In-Person and Online support groups for individuals living with a mental health challenge.
Family-to-Family Class: An 8-session class for family members of individuals living with a mental illness.
In Our Own Voice:  A presentation given by individuals living with mental illness, who are in recovery.

All of the above listed activities are offered for free.
