NCS HOPE Foundation improves the lives of cancer patients, their families, and the community.

The Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) HOPE Foundation was created in 2018 to improve the lives of individuals and families who are impacted by cancer treatment. The financial cost of cancer treatment can have catastrophic consequences on health and quality of life of patients and their families. At NCS Hope Foundation, we promote holistic healing: mind, body, and spirit. We primarily do this through our Hope Assistance Program, providing direct payments for essential living expenses-like housing, utilities, and other financial obligations--on behalf of cancer patients receiving treatment across Nebraska, including Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties. Our funds are available regardless of practice or cancer diagnosis, and we collaborate with similar organizations to ensure our community members' needs are being met.

In 2023, we distributed $37,546.02 in patient financial assistance grants to 90 cancer patients (at least 101 total household members) from Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties.
